Variations
- Space sensors. Detect and indicate the status (free or occupied) and/or type of parking space they control, according to a pre-determined colour (red: occupied; green: free; white: space for a short vehicle; blue: handicapped space).
- Auxiliary space sensors. As complements or extensions for use with space sensors where the car park spaces are larger than usual.
- Status markers. Indicate the status (free or occupied) of the parking space controlled by its related space sensor.
- Movement sensors. Detect the movement and/or direction of vehicles at a specified point.
