Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Yes, the Europeak software enables you to issue this type of card in two different ways:
- As a card belonging to the Europark system itself.
- As an external card, upon prior review and acceptance of the format by the Europark system.
These are cards that come with a predetermined balance (in terms of time or money) that can be used to pay for car park stays, either as a discount applied to the amount due or as a discount in terms of minutes used for the stay. The Europark software enables you to issue this type of card and even define whether you wish to permit their use with negative balances.
Is it possible to generate discount vouchers?
Yes, the Europark software enables you to easily create discount vouchers, either by time or by amount, with or without a magnetic stripe. Invoicing for discount vouchers may also be performed in two different ways:
- Per use: the client pays according to the vouchers used.
- Upon delivery: the client pays for a batch of X number of vouchers.
Automatic pay stations have several configuration options available that enable you to specify payment acceptance for vouchers and credit cards.
Manual pay stations in Europark car parks are equipped with a desktop validator that enables you to issue large numbers of discount cards and conference pass cards.
Yes, the Europark system enables electronic purse cards to be topped-up at any pay station terminal.
Operations (7)
The Europark car park control and management system immediately detects this type of fraudulent action and internally marks the dispensed ticket as a “fraudulent ticket,” rendering it invalid for payment at any collections terminal.
The invalid reading of tickets and/or cards by the desktop validator may be caused by accumulated dirt on the device’s reader heads. Clean the validator heads and if the problem persists, contact Mabyc technical service.
Yes. The Europark Client software allows you to configure the automatic pay stations so that the receipt information is saved internally for all payments made. This way, if a client forgets to request a payment receipt during a transaction, it is possible to later recover the information and print a copy.
In the event of a communications malfunction, the car park terminals continue to operate in autonomous mode. The only functions that are suspended until communications are re-established are credit card payments and pass card access.
The Europark car park control system allows you to establish different simultaneous connections from the same computer. It is therefore possible to manage as many car parks as you wish to have configured.
The coin loading frequency at automatic pay stations depends basically on the specific rotation level at each car park. In addition, keep in mind that collection operations may also contribute to renewing the change available
